Lodging

The conference has a room block for March 24 – 28, 2025 of single king or double queen beds, as available at booking. The conference hotel is the Russell Inn & Suites (https://www.russellinnandsuites.com/) and is within walking distance of the conference site. The deadline for reservations is Thursday, January 23, 2025. However, we strongly encourage you to proceed with booking your room as soon as possible, as the block is likely to fill well before the deadline and adding additional rooms to the block is dependent upon availability and may be subject to market rates. Likewise, government rate rooms are not included in the block and may be booked only upon basis of availability. Individual reservations may be cancelled without penalty until 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival. After the 48-hour period, individuals will be charged a cancellation fee of $140.

There are two options for booking:

  1. Government employees booking at the government rate should call the Russell Inn & Suites (662-324-9595) directly and book a room, requesting the government rate. At booking, hotel personnel will advise regarding availability of rooms at government rate and documentation required at check in. Please do not use the conference block name, as that will get you the conference (not government) rate and will take rooms out of the block at the incorrect rate for government employees.
  2. The conference rate is $140.00/night (plus tax). Call the Russell Inn & Suites (662-324-9595) directly and request the 2025 Wildlife Damage Management Conference block rate.

Should the initial block fully book, there is an overflow block for March 24 - 28, 2025 at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites (https://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpress/hotels/us/en/starkville/srkms/hoteldetail?cm_mmc=GoogleMaps-_-EX-_-US-_-SRKMS). This hotel is not within walking distance of the venue. The deadline for reservations is Sunday, March 9, 2025, after which the block will be released. Government rate rooms are not included in the block and may be booked only upon basis of availability and under the hotel’s terms for offering the government rate.

Two options for booking the overflow block are:
