The IUCN/SSC Small Carnivore Specialist Group (SCSG) brings together more than 100 of the world's leading experts on small carnivores; including scientists, wildlife managers, and conservationists. This group of technical experts from over 30 countries promotes the conservation of the world's small carnivores through science-based research, management and education.
The Mission of the Missouri Department of Conservation is to protect and manage the fish, forest and wildlife resources of the state; to serve the public and facilitate their participation in resource management activities; to provide opportunity for all citizens to use, enjoy and learn about fish, forest and wildlife resources.

The Carnivore Ecology Laboratory is part of the College of Forest Resources and the Forest and Wildlife Research Center, units in the Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine.
